I’m Hassan Kajila, a software developer, and I’ve been writing code for 6 years. Most recently, I built LLM pipelines and the full-stack platform around them for an AI mental-health company, and I ship mobile apps on my own time.

  I integrate agentic AI into complex systems: I build and orchestrate autonomous workflows and AI pipelines that automate data processing, evaluation and content generation.

  Built AI solutions for mental health (part-time, then as a master's internship, then on contract).
  - Designed a multi-LLM pipeline (LangChain) that generates clinical notes in each therapist's own style, from their own examples
  - Set up automatic note evaluation (Langfuse, LLM-as-a-judge): it detects hallucinations, checks the clinician's instructions and style, and corrects non-compliant notes; used to validate every new version before release
  - Built the platform full stack (TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase/PostgreSQL) and the Electron desktop recording app, including fixing an audio sync issue on Windows and macOS

SleepLab
Native Android app that tracks sleep and measures snoring, to see which treatments actually work.
A foreground service listens through the night, detects snoring events and quantifies their intensity and duration. Users log their treatments, such as anti-snoring devices or nasal sprays, and link them to sleep sessions. The analytics dashboard overlays snoring data with treatment periods. Offline first, with all data stored on the device. Still in progress.

Open-source notes and tasks app for Android, iOS and the web.
Notes and checklists that follow your account across devices through Firestore and stay available offline. Includes email and Google sign-in, archive and trash, and optional PIN-based encryption of note content. Per-user Firestore security rules, tests run in CI.

Offline music player for Android, with no ads and no internet connection.
Plays the music stored on the device, with a reorderable queue, synced lyrics, an equalizer, a sleep timer and smart playlists. Playback continues in the background, with lock-screen controls, a home-screen widget and Android Auto support.

About, the short version.

I’m a software developer with a master’s in computer science from Université de Sherbrooke. I’ve built AI systems for mental-health care, full-stack web platforms and native mobile apps.

My path started in Lubumbashi, where I studied software engineering and taught programming labs, before moving to Québec. Along the way I’ve learned to take a product from first prototype to production, alone or with a team.

Outside of work, I volunteer as a web developer and systems administrator for a non-profit, and I spend my free time running, cycling and hiking.

I don’t ship on a hunch: automated evaluations, tests and CI check every release before it reaches users.

The simplest design that solves the problem, with a clear architecture and documentation, so the next change stays cheap.

I start from how people actually work: a clinician’s own writing style, or listening to music offline in the car.
